WEBINAR REVIEW

GOVERNANCE AND PMO
WEBINAR OVERVIEW
This research-based webinar addresses governance and governmentality in the realm of PMOs. It starts by differentiating governance and governmentality from management and leadership, which is often mixed-up and causes confusion.
Subsequently, the main topics of the webinar are addressed, which are:
a) the PMO as a governance institution for projects, programs and portfolios and the related practices, and
b) governmentality as the complementary "soft" skill of governance, and its implementation practice.
The third part of the webinar provides a brief outline of the expected consequences that different approaches to governance and governmentality may cause for project results and ethical issues in projects.
Real life cases will be discussed and (online) tools for assessment and profiling of governance and governmentality approaches will be presented.
